We had our first Suday service, and it went really well. It was great to meet so many people and hear the excitement people had about this new church. Lots of kids and families were there, along with several friends, family members, and other folks from the neighborhood who showed up because they got our mailer, saw signs, or were invited by a friend.

I was particularly excited to share the "stage" with the folks from Hope Food Bank who actually gave us an award for a food drive we had! It was unnecessary, but very cool! I am so excited about the partnership we can build with them over the coming months/years. It is great to work with people who have a shared vision to see this area impacted by the Gospel (Good News) about Jesus. And they're accomplishing this in such a practical way! Check out the video we showed in the service on the 11th.

I really hope those who came today were encouraged and that they saw real people who love a real and living God. Next up... Infuse Groups meet Wednesday!

Next week, we have several fun activities planned for families and kids. Make sure you show up and bring friends. We'll also be giving away a couple Nintendo Wii, the band will be rocking again, and we'll continue our study in Ecclesiastes when we answer the question, "What can make me happy?"
