If you don't believe that God answers prayers, don't tell the people who attend Infusion's Traditional Service. This group of older church members has had too many prayers answered. They know God answers prayers.
In addition to having a "Prayer Chain" that includes over 25 people, another group of around 12 ladies meet on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am for prayer and Bible Study. They call themselves "Seekers" because they are all about seeking God's will for themselves and seeking the intercession of God for the benefit of others through prayer.
God has answered so many prayers from the Traditional congregation; they could not count them all over the years. Although the prayers have included many topics, they have had many prayers over the years regarding health and salvation for others.
The prayers for health have included people diagnosed with cancer, and then the cancer miraculously disappeared, or having serious infections that are healed. Other prayers were for required surgery, but then, the problem subsided, and the surgery was never performed. Even others, who have had surgery, have recovered so fast that it seemed impossible that they did have surgery.
Last year during the grisly train wreck north of Los Angeles where a freight train collided with a passenger train, a member's nephew was seriously and critically injured. The prayers were answered for his survival and recovery to health.
Their prayers have also been focused on God's grace and providing salvation to others. Prayers have been given for unsaved family members of the congregation who then have come to know the Lord. In fact, they have prayed in earnest for many years for the growth of the Church, and those prayers were answered by God with the new Infusion Church led by Pastor John and his wife, Carol. In just 3-short months, the church has grown to around 200 attendees. In each of our "traditional" services, we take time to thank God for bringing this kind of growth and change.
The Bible tells us that The prayer of a righteous [person] is powerful and effective. (James 5:16b) (NIV). The Prayer Warriors of the Infusion's Traditional Service are living testimonies of that Scriptural Truth.
